Support my half-marathon run, social justice, climate action, and sound public policy! On March 24, 2013, I will be running in the Oakland Running Festival for the Asian Pacific Environmental Network (APEN). Together, we seek to create a healthier world.
I firmly believe that all people have a right to a clean and healthy environment in which they can live, work, learn, play . . . and thrive. This has embodied my work and life for nearly twenty years. Towards this same vision, APEN brings together a collective voice for environmental, social and economic justice – seeking fundamental changes to our economic and social institutions to prioritize public good over profits, promote the right of every person to a decent, safe, affordable quality of life, and promote the right to participate in the decisions that affect our lives.
