Hey Friends and Family! We are so excited to be running for Team APEN (Asian Pacific Environmental network). This is Teresa's first half marathon (she's never run more than three miles until this year), and Vanessa's third Oakland half marathon. APEN matters to us because they're committed to empowering those most impacted by environmental injustice and ensuring that they have the tools and support to create substantial changes in our communities.
