Four amazing APEN leaders are running the 5K for the first time. Help the get to the finish line.
APEN's community leaders from Oakland and Richmond care about the environment, health, community and justice. That's why four Oakland Chinatown leaders from ages 23 to 87 are going to run/walk the 5K in the Oakland Running Festival this year.
Oakland Chinatown leaders do everything from fighting for affordable housing and community benefits and supporting more equitable energy policy to throwing fundraisers and house parties to educate their friends about environmental justice. They have a vision for a more just, renewably-powered Oakland, where everyone has a voice, home and chance to succeed.
