I am honored to join Team APEN, yet again, for the 2014 Oakland Half Marathon. I am also running to raise money for Hyphen magazine as well. Donations will be split evenly between the two Bay Area-based social justice organizations. I'm really out of shape and I haven't run in awhile, so I'm doing the 5K -- but don't let that stop you from donating. Even a $10 donation will help APEN empower low-income Asian Pacific Islander (API) communities to achieve environmental and social justice, and help Hyphen tell the stories of these communities.
